We had to drive from one to the next, following the treasure hunt-like map along the way. I loved that each installation was its own landmark, spread out across the desert. I went out to the desert for my birthday last year, in search of open sky and spiritual connectedness to the land, and stumbled upon the biennial exhibition, curated by Neville Wakefield.
